We all saw a strange dream. A man at the top of a tower said that we were "contestants in the Festival of Termina". That there could only be one "champion" in it.

The city itself was... bad. There were dead bodies, traps, and the people there looked like they were becoming monsters.

yves looks shocked himself, and this is after talking about these terrible murder flowers ]

You think... the town was experiencing the Festival?

[ and honestly he's been so freakishly chill with most of the things in heaven because he's an easygoing guy, but this type of rampant suffering is what actually makes him look mad. frustrated, for once ]

I'm sorry, Marcoh. You don't deserve to be there—no one does. Maybe there'll be a way for the angels to help stop the situation, so you don't have to have to go back to that.

It wouldn't even make sense—to redeem your life and save it, only to put you somewhere so dangerous again. We can help you make a case for it.

[ Oh Yves you sweet bean. Marcoh isn't as doompilled as Daan is about Prehevil at least. Because he thinks he can punch through stuff and hasn't seen as many horrors. ]

Curses and things like this... It can take so long to fix them. Too long for one person, too much for one person. I can't let someone go through that again.

[ He's not sure what he means, if he's equating the island's curse to his weird death city plight or what. ]

I let a friend take on a burden all by himself before, because I thought that he could handle it—everyone thought he could.

[ he's about to quietly echo 'do i think...?' because he's curious what marcoh was about to say, but then there's a change in direction

and yves will look back at the flowers and... there's a little bit of a forlorn look in his eyes. even still he nods ]
