[ He shrugs, shoving his way into his room and heading to his bed. I didn't mention this yesterday because I was dying, but Claude has a big bed... and it would look very comfy if not for the fact that it's littered with books.
Claude will settle down uncaring if there's a book digging into his butt though. ]
It's alright. [ Looking at Yves with a little frown. ] You were close, right? With Adolphe.
[ yves will gently move some of the books aside so he doesn't sit on them, but he will try to keep them in the general vicinity so he doesn't throw off claude's (squints) organization system?
but he'll sit, running fingers through his own ponytail as he looks thoughtful ]

[ a little more softly: ] This is the second time I've lost him.
[ when yves said that to him, heaven is a place where he can see his friends again, adolphe was a big part of it. ]
[ he can't deny that. the day that adolphe died four years ago felt like the beginning of the worst period of yves's life. he wonders if that'll be the same for his afterlife. ]
... I just wish his time stopped being cut so short.
[ why is yves always the one left with more time he doesn't want? ]
yves isn't the type to say so, just huffing out a breath that's almost a laugh. ]
Good. [ he does sound relieved, and he'll nestle his head against claude's shoulder some more, having gotten comfortable doing this over the past week ]
Then... please be alright enough for both of us, at least for today. I can pick up the slack again tomorrow.
