...I don't really have one. [Please don't make him decide on things. He is blindly following Yves like a lost dog.] Everything here—everything in Heaven is pretty good.
[ yves will just scoop some of his curry and rice and look thoughtful ]
Well... this is a trial area of Heaven, where a lot of us are seeking redemption to see what happens to our souls at the end. We can either go back to life, or we can go to Heaven for real, with some wiggle room.
But it's also been tough, because it's also been dangerous... and people have been dying again every week. We know where their souls are now, so it's not like they're gone forever... but it's pretty depressing on the weekends.
[ AFTER THE PARTY HEHE YAYYYYY well yves is sloshed to hell but he is going to even vaguely make an attempt to clean up the tavern so it's not all on del and bas
[ remembers the last tag i gave you and laughs anyway
ok iT'S OVER!!!!!!!!!! YVES IS MAKING HIS ROUNDS TO SEE PEOPLE and he's bringing a gift with him. it's a paper flower again, but this time in the shape of a lycoris, just like the ones on his halo. it has both red and black petals, and it truly looks so hilariously goth from someone so sunshiney
but he'll offer it out anyway ]
Here, Till. For you, even though you didn't think you needed to advocate for my redemption after saying nice things about everyone else.
[ lap.... pillow........... okay. this is fine. his emotions are a little shy for a second, but he's getting used to this. ]
Yeah, I remember them a little from your memory. [ but... they seemed bittersweet, if anything. still, he'll leave that up to yves to explain or not. ] Spill.
[ he's really getting forced into so much affection. yves just laughs a little bit ]
Well... they do have a lot of importance, even if it's a little bit of a lot of things. In my home, they're a little bit associated with the curse on the island. If they're plucked, they can lead to someone dying—at least for the black flowers. I know that sounds scary but... the story that I was told when I was young was that Death came to our island and spoke to one of my ancestors. Death demanded that the lycoris noirges be looked after so that he could make a bouquet for his bride in the future. If the noirges were ever allowed to wilt, then he would kill everyone on the island.
I know it sounds morbid! But... [ a little bit of a sheepish laugh, fond ] The only times I remembered being loved before I came here... were with my grandfather. He'd take me by the hand and we'd go out and he'd look after these cursed flowers, and love them as much as anyone else. Isn't that the makings of a wonderful person? Someone who can love flowers, no matter what.
[ a dreamy little sigh ]
I took over him, at some point. I became the Guardian of the Lycoris, and so when I give my friends this token... [ he dangles the flower in front of till again, waiting for him to take it ] I hope they remember them for the lovely flowers that are waiting to be given to the girl so loved that a bouquet has been prepared for her for generations.
The same type of love that I feel... even if we've known each other a short time, I already can't wait to meet you again, Till.
[ that is pretty fucked up and morbid but he's from alien stage universe and everything is pretty fucked up and morbid, so. he takes the flower, listens, then sighs. ]
...Like I said, it better not be for a while.
[ but he'll look forward to it too. he spins the flower by its stem a bit, holding it above his head to look at it. ]
I'm realizing I don't even really know anything about you, or your home. [ and things like lycoris noirges. ] It really hasn't been that long, huh?
week 5, thursday
Did I hear that your name is Till? Do you have a favorite food?

...I don't really have one. [Please don't make him decide on things. He is blindly following Yves like a lost dog.] Everything here—everything in Heaven is pretty good.

You're not wrong. It's pretty cute here, too. How about something warm like a curry?
no subject
Uh... I guess that's fine.
[Hard to keep the wind in your angry sails when people ask you to have curry.]
Is now really the best time for food?
no subject
[ he will order.... they come out looking like this ]
Mm, well... I think it's easier to take in a lot of information over food?
no subject
You don't gotta baby me. I can handle some bad news.
[Stabs his curry sullenly with a spoon, like a baby.]

sits and gently guides till into enjoying a lap pillow ]
