[ He imagines they did and he would be SHOCKED I tell you if Yves was like yeah and Lucas fucking SUCKS actually I HATE my teacher, aka he's sure Yves regardless loves that guy no matter what but. He just wants to make sure anyway that things are fine there. ]
... I think that he's trapped in something, and I don't know how to reason with him to get out or... to even want to get out. Our conversations go in circles, and it's really difficult.
Oh so Marcoh is right to not be so comfortable with Lucas coming back to his room. He kind of is clearly pausing and having an 'uhhh' moment like he's trying to decide if 1) his thoughts are correct and 2) if he should tell Yves. ]
You always help me out, Marcoh... I'm not sure if you'll end up in many conversations with an easy opening for it but... I guess if you could help me try to point out the ways in which Monsieur Lucas isn't always thinking straight, that could be helpful...
And that's... part of when I tried to have the conversation with him about everything. I don't trust the minister who looked after him and his sister, and I don't think his beliefs about Relivers are fair.
[ a sigh ]
I was able to reason with him enough to figure out how to help our country but... I don't know how to help him.
I obviously did not like what I was seeing, but there isn't much I can interject on.
[ Because it was the past, and it's kind of awkward to be like uhmmm this is wrong, and considering Lucas was a terminally ill and extremely delirious man, it's hard to be like you really shouldn't. He did voice his thoughts that it was incredibly wrong for these people to take advantage of a dying man that way but it does not seem like Lucas really took much away from that conversation. ]
They took away his final days with Nadia, and that is unfair to him.
[ softly, sadly. and in the emotionshare, there is just so much heartache that comes from yves. he feels so much for these two siblings. he feels so much for nadia
even after he passed, I visited her as many days as I could ]
But he thinks that Nadia is safe in their care... even though I have all these questions that are never quite able to be answered.
[ and there's an actual little trickle of anger in yves' emotions, something directed at a person. people. not anyone in heaven, but my god it makes sense that they aren't here ]
How can I accept something like that being done to my beloved teacher? And yet despite my best efforts, he won't even listen...
[ He still has his Command card, although he did offer it to somebody else for a different thing and he'd like to use it on that. Imagine fixing Lucas by literally ordering him to lock in. ]

[ with practice swords.... ]
But... thanks. I am happy to be back, and I'm sorry that I left.

[ He thinks maybe it'd be a better idea to not get into even playful violence with anyone else now. ]
It was not your choice.
no subject
... it wasn't. [ a little sigh ] Lots of things that aren't our choices around here, but... hopefully that's all over now.

We did. I don't think it'll surprise anyone to know that I forgive him, and I love him even still.
[ . . . ]
But I do think something's wrong and I don't know how to fix it.

It won't affect you. There's nothing about you that he'd ever try to hurt.
[ he does say this with confidence, ]
... it just has implications for the country that I died trying to save.
no subject
[ But that being said. ]
I think I saw a memory of his about this?
[ How do you fix him. Should he just knock him out... ]
no subject
[ he just looks so worried ]
... well, I can do my best to figure it out. I'm sure you already have a lot on your plate, Marcoh.

[ Honestly, he thinks he's really kind of only caused harm these last few days, so. ]

[ with a soft look of amusement ]

[ Gh... ]
Someone's power? An item...?

I don't know what powers everyone has but... I can think about it.
no subject
[ He does not think breaking someone's chains is the same thing as putting them into it to begin with. ]
Not unless you think forcing someone to accept bandages is the same as harming them in the first place.
no subject
... no, I think... you do have a point.
[ but doing so by force still feels so strange to him ]
I guess... I'll have to see if that's even an option.
