yves is just wandering around with curiosity and saying his hello's. he offers a smile to literally everyone he comes across and right now is no exception ]

Marcoh...! [ jogs right up to him ] Got time to chat?

[ Ikr welcome back everything fucking sucks suddenly. I don't know where Marcoh is but he's likely to not wander far from the Neighbourhood. ]

Nothing in particular, I just wanted to check on you.

[ rough weekend, huh ]

How are you feeling?

[ Rough three weekends in a row, thank you. ]

...I've been better.

[ rests his head on marcoh's shoulder as they walk... familiar ]

... still mad?

No.

[ Not like. In the absolute all-consuming way he was, if that's what Yves is talking about. He's still mad about some things but they're back burner thoughts. ]

he will just gently pat his arm ]

... it's okay if you are. [ he mostly believes marcoh! he just thinks that's hard to get over so quickly, in just days ] I really do think that... well...

The losing people always felt like the hardest part.

[ These last three weeks truly have been lifechangingly traumatic. His thoughts are disoriented flashes of a heart in a blanket. Yeah. ]

How were things over there?

yves is quiet for a moment ]

... okay. [ softly ] I had nothing to complain about, really. There was a fun battle area that summoned enemies to fight? When Uruha arrived, we went together with Adolphe and Saber to blow off some stress?

[ so there's that! ]

And then we were back here in what felt like no time at all.

[ Thank god for your enrichment guys. If Marcoh had that he'd been slightly better these last three weeks......... ]

[ He thinks maybe it'd be a better idea to not get into even playful violence with anyone else now. ]

[ He imagines they did and he would be SHOCKED I tell you if Yves was like yeah and Lucas fucking SUCKS actually I HATE my teacher, aka he's sure Yves regardless loves that guy no matter what but. He just wants to make sure anyway that things are fine there. ]

We did. I don't think it'll surprise anyone to know that I forgive him, and I love him even still.

But I do think something's wrong and I don't know how to fix it.

... I think that he's trapped in something, and I don't know how to reason with him to get out or... to even want to get out. Our conversations go in circles, and it's really difficult.

Oh so Marcoh is right to not be so comfortable with Lucas coming back to his room. He kind of is clearly pausing and having an 'uhhh' moment like he's trying to decide if 1) his thoughts are correct and 2) if he should tell Yves. ]

It won't affect you. There's nothing about you that he'd ever try to hurt.

[ he does say this with confidence, ]

... it just has implications for the country that I died trying to save.

I wasn't thinking that it would.

I think I saw a memory of his about this?

[ Honestly, he thinks he's really kind of only caused harm these last few days, so. ]

You always help me out, Marcoh... I'm not sure if you'll end up in many conversations with an easy opening for it but... I guess if you could help me try to point out the ways in which Monsieur Lucas isn't always thinking straight, that could be helpful...
